Mighty in Mini: Zehnder Unveils New Tetris Radiators for Compact Bathrooms and Cloakrooms
03.03.2026
CAMBERLEY, UK: 3 March 2026 - Zehnder Group UK today announces the extension of its highly successful Tetris Radiator range with the launch of the Zehnder Tetris and Zehnder Tetris Electric Cloakroom models.

Available in all finishes in Zehnder’s World of Colours range, these new small but mighty models have been created to meet the growing demand for compact, design-led heating solutions for smaller spaces.

Purpose-built for cloakrooms, compact bathrooms, and downstairs water closets (WCs), the new radiators provide the same  design appeal as Zehnder’s original full-size Tetris models but now in a smaller form factor - providing both optimum heat output and stunning aesthetics with the practicality of accommodating a collection of towels.

Inspired by the fluidity of nature and the harmony of architecture, the Zehnder Tetris range embodies the rhythm of warmth, bringing a sense of movement and space – making these two new models a perfect choice for compact bathrooms.

Designed in collaboration with the renowned studio King & Miranda, the Zehnder Tetris range seamlessly combines clean lines with a river-flow pattern, creating a product that is both visually stunning and highly practical. Furthermore, the option to incorporate valves in coordinating colours enhances the allure of the entire product concept, ensuring seamless integration into any design scheme.

Providing the option to either connect to central heating (Zehnder Tetris Cloakroom) or mains electric (Zehnder Tetris Cloakroom Electric), the radiators also offer customers an additional layer of flexibility. Both radiators measure just 620mm x 500mm and have undergone independent testing and certification in accordance with UK and European standards.

The Zehnder Tetris Cloakroom Electric boasts all the design specifications of its central heating cousin but features Zehnder’s patented IHE immersion heater, saving up to 58% energy. Unlike typical heating elements the IHE element maintains the set temperature by modulating power which reduces total energy consumption and extends the life of the element and therefore the radiator.

It is ideal for use where electricity is the primary heat source the Tetris Cloakroom Electric has an IP65 rating, making it watertight against light-pressure water spray, allowing for safer placement closer to water sources such as sinks and showers.

The growing trend in Britain is for bathrooms and WCs to be housed in smaller spaces, with 93% of new homes built since 2001 having a downstairs WC. From a regulatory perspective, Part T of the Building Regulations outlines the expectation that WCs be built on the ground floor of nearly all new build properties. These factors signal an increasing demand for smarter, more space-efficient heating solutions to prevent these spaces from attracting mould and condensation.

“Smaller rooms present very different design and engineering challenges compared to larger bathrooms,” said Chris Walley, Heating Solutions Manager at Zehnder Group UK. “With the new Tetris Cloakroom models, our focus was on retaining the visual impact and comfort level customers expect from the Zehnder Tetris range, while refining the proportions to work intelligently within tighter physical footprints. It is about delivering high performance in tight spaces - something we don’t see often in our industry.

“From a product development perspective, flexibility and ease of specification were our major priorities. We recognised that installers need solutions that are straightforward to fit, and homeowners want the assurance that even their smaller spaces will stay warm, dry and comfortable year-round.”

The Tetris Cloakroom and Tetris Cloakroom Electric come to market in March 2026. Designed and built in Zehnder’s world-leading manufacturing facilities, the radiators are precision-engineered for durability, ensuring a long product lifespan as well as being fully recyclable at the end of life.

With decades of experience and credibility as a leading provider of heating solutions, including the creation of the first ladder towel radiator in 1980, the Tetris represent the next phase of Zehnder’s innovative product roadmap.
