Grilles are the only visible part of a ventilation system, so we believe they should do more than simply work well. They should also integrate beautifully into your home. That is exactly what this new portfolio was designed to achieve.
It consists of two distinct lines: the Classic Line, with familiar forms, clean geometry and timeless finishes, and the Design Line, which introduces a more expressive aesthetic with a high-gloss, glass-look finish. Each grille has been carefully developed to operate quietly, install seamlessly and enhance the space it occupies.
Throughout the development process, we involved potential users - homeowners, installers, planners and architects. Their input went beyond confirming preferred styles; it helped us identify designs with genuine long-term potential.
This page invites you to explore the story behind the grilles: how they were developed, what sets them apart, and why airflow has never looked this good.
Gabriel Pistorius, product designer
The Classic Line is our response to a portfolio that had become fragmented, with inconsistencies and legacy designs. This project gave us the opportunity to rebuild it into a cleaner, more coherent range that works seamlessly across markets.
We retained the Italian city names for familiarity, while introducing new designs such as Milano and Bologna to raise the standard across the entire Classic Line. These models set a new benchmark in both appearance and performance, combining familiar forms with refined detailing and reduced pressure drop.
Inspired by timeless Italian design, Milano combines soft curves with clean, circular perforations. Its subtle 3D surface and distinctive dot-and-line detail mark a modern evolution of our long-standing bestseller, Venezia. True to its namesake, Milano balances classic elegance with confident, contemporary performance.
Avaliable in shapes:
With its balanced proportions, Venezia is a quiet classic. The simple design, featuring evenly spaced round perforations, delivers reliable airflow and consistent performance. ComfoGrid Venezia proves that good design stands the test of time, which is why it has been a favourite with professionals for many years.
Available in shapes:
This range is ideally suited to installers and contractors working on new-build single-family homes, where ventilation grilles play an important role in delivering balanced, efficient airflow throughout the living space. The Classic Line offers a reliable, familiar solution that integrates easily into a wide range of interiors and building concepts.
Designed for professionals who value both timeless aesthetics and practical performance, the Classic Line focuses on what matters on site: quick installation, accurate fit and consistent, long-term reliability. With proven quality and thoughtful detailing, these grilles are a dependable choice for modern residential projects.

The Design Line gave us the freedom to be more expressive. We explored new shapes, materials and ways for the grille to make a statement rather than simply blend in.
Not every idea made the final cut, but one unexpected success was the glass-edge frame, which began as a supplier workaround and quickly proved to be the perfect way to distinguish this line visually. Even the names reflect this shift - inspired by gemstones to complement the more refined, elegant character of the range.
Topazio brings balance to your interior. Its minimalist lines and translucent frame evoke the clarity of topaz, elegant but grounded. Topazio’s beauty lies in its symmetry, simplicity and ability to fit effortlessly into modern living.
Avaliable in shapes:
The Design Line is designed for spaces where visual impact is just as important as airflow performance. It’s well suited to architects, interior designers, premium renovation projects, and homeowners looking to enhance both comfort and the overall aesthetic of their space.
Typically used in smaller numbers, the expectations for the Design Line are higher. Its distinctive glass-look edge frame adds a sense of elegance and refinement, but it also brings a practical consideration: these grilles are not suitable for floor installation, which is why no CLF version is available.
The raised glass-look edge could present a trip-hazard or impact risk at floor level and may be more susceptible to scratches or marks from footwear, furniture or cleaning equipment.

Each grille includes a discreet QR code for quick filter tracking and easy reordering. Maintenance reminders are now just a scan away.
Every product comes with an ownership card — a handy place to record filter changes and installer details for future service needs.
Our new square-shaped filters reduce material waste and feature a larger surface area, capturing more dust and lasting longer.
We’re developing an accordion-style filter design for even better dust retention and extended filter life — ensuring lasting performance.
Every detail matters. Our updated TVA frame now uses a single central pin - no glue, no hassle - for faster installation and a secure, sustainable fit.
Made from durable recycled polymer, it replaces older materials to reduce environmental impact while improving performance and longevity.
Because with Zehnder, even the smallest parts are designed to make a big difference.

Design grilles must always be used in combination with a Zehnder ComfoSet. This module is used to commission ventilation systems that include non-adjustable valves or decorative grilles.
The ComfoSet can be installed either centrally at the distribution unit or locally at the end of a Zehnder ComfoTube 90, directly before the plenum or grille. It enables quiet, controlled airflow regulation using interchangeable discs, allowing airflow resistance to be adjusted between 20% and 75%.
