Surfaces without compromises
Visually, the high quality surface of a radiator starts at the finish: The specially developed Zehnder coating process ensures a particularly high-quality and robust surface, which is extremely smooth, homogeneous, impact-resistant, robust and low-maintenance. And of course, free of solvents and heavy metals and hence free of vapors that are harmful to health.
Step one: Multi-stage cleaning.
In several stages, the raw components are carefully dedusted and degreased.
Step two: Electrophoretic priming.
For protection from corrosion and as an ideal wash primer, the Zehnder radiators are primed in a high-quality and compact priming in a special electrophoretic primer.
Step three: Stove-enamelling of the priming.
The priming dries in a furnace. The primed radiator can now be coated with any desired colour.
Step four: Powder coating.
The paint is applied in special cabins. The powder coating facilitates a homogenous, velvety and simultaneously, extremely non-sensitive surface.
Step five: Stove-enamelling of the powder coating.
When the colour powder melts, the result is a flawless, colourfast surface with a high resistance against impact, heat and dirt.
