System comparison
The following animation compares the energy levels of radiant systems and air heating systems.
The enormous energy saving only becomes truly clear in a direct comparison between conventional ventilation systems and radiant systems.
Radiant panels arranged evenly across the ceiling create a perfect, naturally comfortable climate. The heat is evenly distributed across the entire surface.
Firstly: When heating with radiant ceiling panels, the perceived air temperature is the same, even though the actual air temperature in the room is lower. The result: The lower temperature gradient between the temperature of the indoor and outdoor air means fewer heat losses.
Secondly: While the heated air produced by air heating systems rises, radiant ceiling panels create heat when the radiant heat comes into contact with people and objects (surfaces). This produces a more even distribution of temperature across the full height of the room and therefore consumes much less energy.
