New Anti-Bacterial Paint Helps Fight Infection
Zehnder is pleased to announce the availability of an anti-bacterial paint
finish for their FLATLINE radiant ceiling panel which has a perfectly smooth
flat surface.
The specialized anti-bacterial paint finish is effective against many bacteria,
moulds and fungi. It is hard wearing, durable and can be used in all areas where
concern about microbial contamination is an issue.
The paint works by disrupting the microbes’ ability to establish colonies. This
is achieved by using proven, safe, well known and well understood chemicals,
such as Quaternary ammonium Salts – used in cosmetics, Ortho-Phenyl Phenol –
used in soap, and Iso-Thiazalones – used in shampoo.
The finish is free from antibiotics, poisonous heavy metals and of toxic metal
salts which create residue problems.
