Zehnder‘s ComfoAirQ MVHR unit has been shortlisted for Domestic Product of the Year in the 2017 Electrical Industry Awards. In association with Electrical Times, the electrical industry’s longest-running awards are now in their 25th year. The winners will be announced on 26th October at The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.
The Zehnder ComfoAir Q is a next generation Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) unit focusing on simplicity and performance, using innovative technology to deliver excellent ventilation. Using smart technology, the occupant’s comfort is given top priority, taking into account a number of factors to deliver the most comfortable temperature. ComfoAir Q’s filter sensors are based on real time – measuring the volume of air that has passed through rather than a standard run down timer, protecting the system and its occupants based on the installed environment.
ComfoAirQ was shortlisted based on four innovations; a high-performing heat exchanger with 96% heat recovery, patented sensor technology to balance air volume, noise reducing fans and Zehnder’s unique modulating summer bypass feature, designed to deliver comfort all year round.
Each category in the Electrical Industry Awards reflects objectives common to a wide variety of organisations. Submissions are judged against the achievements of all types of business, rather than just those in direct competition. Entrants provide independent data to evidence their entries.
