The modern warehouse facility was designed by EPT Partnership in Cardiff and built by Dawnus Construction in Swansea.
Building Services Design and Energy Engineers, Bullock Consulting, were commissioned to manage the mechanical requirements of the build and specified the use of Zehnder ZBN radiant panels for the heating system. “With a ceiling height of 9m radiant technology was the obvious choice” explains Paul Bullock, Mechanical Design Engineer at Bullock Consulting. “Radiant heating’s ability to provide a uniform distribution of heat in large spaces, whilst also achieving energy savings of up to 40% in comparison to other systems made it the most economical and energy efficient solution”. |
