2012
Zehnder Group reported in increase in sales of 8% for the 2011 business year – ventilation accounted for 32% of sales. The group now has 3200 employees worldwide.

2010
Zehnder Group (UK) launches Zehnder Retail Division
Zehnder Group (UK) is strengthening its operation in the UK merchant and showroom market with the introduction of the Zehnder brand which will incorporate the current Acova product portfolio from 1st February 2010.
Zehnder (retail) will focus on distributing innovative, well designed, towel radiators and heating products through bathroom and kitchen showrooms and the merchant network. The exciting portfolio will incorporate products previously sold as Acova as well as new additions from the Zehnder range.

2008
Zehnder Group aquires Greenwood Air Management Ltd
Presence and knowledge of the ventilation market is further strengthened with Zehnder's aquisition of leading UK ventilation company, Greenwood Air Management. Based on England's south coast and dating back to 1879, Greenwood are known for their market leading and innovative products.
2007
At the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt, Zehnder exhibited its range of products as a provider for heating, cooling and fresh air. The energy-efficient system innovations with design included the new air distribution system, Zehnder Onfloor, the towel radiator, Villeroy & Boch by Zehnder Planus, and the ceiling heating systems, ZBN.

2005
With the product family Dualis, Zehnder is setting new standards in radiator design. The steel radiator with an aluminum front has a large proportion of pleasant radiant heat and is suitable for bathrooms and living areas. The innovation has been awarded the Design Plus.

2003
Start of a collaboration with Villeroy & Boch:
bathroom radiators matched by designers to the series from Villeroy & Boch will be marketed under the co-brand Villeroy & Boch by Zehnder.

2001
Entry into the business area of comfort ventilation through the aquisition of J E Stork Air.
2000
Zehnder celebrates 70 years of Zehnder Multicolumn. On this occasion, it gets the name of the times when it was created: Zehnder Charleston.
1993
Hans-Peter Zehnder (4th generation) takes over the Chairmanship of the Group Management.

Going Public of Zehnder Holding AG. The new shares are listed on the market.
1984
Zehnder develops a product design that also meets high aesthetic demands. The first design radiators are launched in the market - Zehnder Art Deco and Zehnder Sculptur.

1980
Thanks to the merger of Zehnder and the radiator manufacturer Beutler in Lahr, the strong market position can be further consolidated.
The first towel radiator (Zehnder Universal) is launched in the market. For the first time, a dual-use radiator has been developed.
1964
Owing to the high demand, a German subsidiary is formed in Riegel.

1953
New markets are captured. Zehnder exports its tubular radiators to Germany.
1930
Robert Zehnder invents the tubular radiator (Zehnder Charleston). In contrast to the cast radiators used in those times, the Zehnder tubular radiator was a lot lighter, had better heat conductivity, was much more cost-effective to manufacture and had a more attractive appearance.

1923
The brothers Walter and Robert Zehnder developed and built a light motorcycle that was manufactured in large numbers for many years.
1895
Jakob Zehnder sets up a workshop for bicycles, typewriters, sewing machines and washing machines in Gränichen in Switzerland.
